In honor of America's 250th anniversary, A Great Awakening reveals the inspiring true story of a friendship that helped ignite the spirit of a nation. At a time when the colonies stood on the edge of collapse, George Whitefield stirred hearts and awakened a generation with a a bold call to liberty in Christ.
Alongside him stood an unlikely ally - Benjamin Franklin - whose journey would forever change his understanding of freedom. As the fight for independence unfolds, Franklin discovers a timeless truth: True liberty is not only declared in laws - it is awakened in the hearts of the people.
